Description

A classic modern color wash, etching, and aquatint on Arches paper titled " Pygmees Sous la Lune" by Joan Miro. Hand signed on the bottom right with an annotation 27/50 on the bottom left. Published in 1972. From a private collection. An abstract surrealist depiction of abstract which includes birds, eyes, and the moon. Dimensions: 47.75"w x 1.75"d x 38.75"h (framed). In very good vintage condition. 

Joan Miro was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and ceramicist born in Barcelona. A leading member of the Surrealist movement, Miro's work is characterized by its childlike simplicity and dreamlike quality. He used a variety of mediums throughout his career, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, and ceramics. Miro is considered to be one of the most important artists of the 20th century. His work can be found in major museums around the world.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies.
